Sports Pathway Coaching offers a wide range of extra-curricular clubs for children. We run after school sports clubs such as weekly football and multi-sports clubs known as Playmakers. These include rounders, basketball, dodgeball, hockey, tennis, tag-rugby, handball, tri-golf and many others.
With multi-sports clubs, children are introduced to one or two sports each week, and we incorporate a fun warm-up and games as part of the session. We cater for both children new to sport and also the more experienced.
In addition to these activities, we can also offer individual sports, including handball, hockey, athletics, badminton, netball and cricket, amongst others. These extra sessions offer individuals and schools scope to improve their overall standard of sport for upcoming competitions.
After school sports clubs and out of school sports activities are not only physically beneficial to children, but also socially and intellectually valuable. Teamwork, discipline and the importance of working hard all add to a sense of responsibility and honour and improve confidence levels. Furthermore, working parents are offered a convenient and affordable means of childcare.
All our after school sports clubs are run by qualified coaches following a specifically designed curriculum and splitting the children into age and ability groups.
Both fun and structured sessions help to develop your child mentally and physically and improve their social skills. Each week there is the opportunity to win a Player, Playmakers or helpers of the Week award, which rewards and encourages your child to enjoy sport. By setting specific goals, the Playmakers syllabus develops individual and team skills, boosts confidence, determination and commitment and offers the chance to compete and be rewarded with certificates and trophies.
